Essential device storage
SWAGGES uses local storage for the taste profile, update time, onboarding progress, device identifier, privacy decision and install-prompt preferences. Profile storage remains until it is reset or deleted, browser storage is cleared or the app is removed. The service worker uses Cache Storage for public app files and the offline screen, and replaces old SWAGGES caches when a new version activates.
Hosting and security
Cloudflare can use strictly necessary security, load-balancing and abuse-prevention technologies when serving SWAGGES. Their exact names and lifetimes are controlled by Cloudflare and must be checked against the live service inventory. These technologies are not used by SWAGGES for advertising.
Optional analytics
SWAGGES does not load third-party analytics, advertising, Sovrn or VigLink scripts. Data-minimised first-party events remain disabled unless the matching versioned analytics choice is recorded. The analytics session identifier is held in session storage and rotates with a new browser session. Raw analytics records are kept for 90 days and do not accept email, name, exact age, prompt text, product identifiers or private taste contents. Separate hashed network rate-limit records are essential security data and expire after two hours.
Affiliate enhancements
The current retailer click works without the optional affiliate-enhancements setting. Future link rewriting or extra measurement must remain disabled until its provider, data use, retention and consent requirements are documented.
Change or withdraw your choice
Use the visible “Privacy choices” control at any time. Rejecting optional processing is as prominent as accepting it. A choice records its policy version, decision date and expiry on this device; an expired or incompatible choice is requested again.
